Thai Food, ah yes! The greater half of my life spent eating it due to my Thai mother. Thailand has some of the best and unique tasting foods found in the South East Asian region. I believe this uniqueness in taste stems from Thai people and culture emphasizing life and fun. Thais will often prefer to have fun and live life simultaneously rather than pick one over the other. Taking a quote from an article titled Thai Society: Everylife we can see a funny quote to highlight this idea and life style.
An important thing in everyday life is "SANUK". Thai people love to have fun together. "SANUK" can represent many things : eat together, to be with friends and chat, to go out with friends. For Thai people "SANUK" happens with several persons. When coming back from business, Thai people often ask "was it funny ?" (สนุกไหม) before "was it successful ?".

To Western society this may seem funny and even outrageous but this mindset and way of life is found in the playful traditional Thai dishes from Thai green curry, papaya salad and to the famous Tom Yum. Thai food is very mixed and varied however the most common taste in Thai food is the combination of sweet & sour and just damn spicy. Thailand a country dubbed the land of smiles, and this blogger thinks its because of the food. This blogger knows, I grew up with a smile :) <3 Thailand

Wealthy Thai - A very good, fairly price but most importantly a Thai family business. Nothing like eating proper authentic Thai food.
